the worst will b over in 3-4 days if u can get sum methadone and use small amounts carefully it will help withdrawl but stop the methadone after 4 days if u can id do 40mgs methadone 1st day 30 the 2nd 20 the 3rd & 10 the last DONT MIX METHADONE & PRECOCET

∙ 15y agoDepending on the severity of the addiction the physical withdrawal could be a couple days to a week. In severe casses it could last for a couple weeks. The psychological withdrawal may last for months

∙ 14y agoAfter about 5 days, you'll begin to feel better and continue to improve each day. After 28 days you should be completely clear and hopefully feel a new lease on life. Hang in there, you can do it!
Just remember (from one former addict to another) "The greatest complication of withdrawal is returning to the offending substance." Take it hour by hour and you can make it!
FYI, there's no shame in seeing an addiction psychiatrist. I bit the bullet, swallowed my pride, saw one and she saved me from myself.
