probably means multiple sclerosis - it's a degenerative disease of the nervous system that ultimately kills after a long suffering
Multiple sclerosis can develop very gradually and can be difficult to diagnose accurately. Initial symptoms can include blurred vision, weakness of muscles, and tingling or numbness in the limbs. Symptoms may disappear for long periods before recurring.

However, if you are not interested in continuing therapy, you should consult with your doctor to discuss a medicinal route of treatment. If you are still not satisfied with your treatment options, it may be best to seek a second opinion.
