Completely depends on the size and application. The volume of debris required to grind and the materials it's comprised of will wear the grinder teeth and impeller.
I would say it's safe to assume an average 1/2 HP residential sewage grinder pump running a single family home would run at least 5 to 10 years maintenance free. 20 years wouldn't be out of the possibility, but if you have a garbage disposal, frequently dispose of chemicals down the drain, or have a lot of usage I would say 20 years wouldn't be so likely, 10 would be more realistic.
On average 13-18 years.
Sump pumps can be installed by almost any intelligent handyman. Piping can be fixed PVC or flexible tube as long as it leads outside or to a regular drain.
Should last about 30 minutez
7 years.
not long, but a while. it can rust.
The sump should work as long as you have a strainer in the shower
On average 13-18 years.
Water pumps generally last 60,000 to 90,000 miles. They are usually replaced around the time that timing belts are replaced.
i came across a new site called gouldswellpumps.org and maybe you will find the answer on there as it is all about goulds well pumps and submersible well pumps
With most vehicles the pump lasts the life of the vehicle, but I replace more GM pumps within 100K than anything else.
In very clean wells I have seen submersible pumps 18-20 years old. Unfortunately any degree of silt lessens the life of pumps and I would guess the average to be about 14 years.
You can as long as you clean the grinder out in between the uses. You can do this by pouring white rice into the coffee grinder and then dumping it out after it's grinded the rice up.
My personal Experience is about 3 years. Ive had several pumps over the last few years. There are many variables to consider. Ie. Amount of use of unit, Length of use for pumps. Quality of care for the pump.
The pumps for the regular RBK skates last about 1 year. To make it last longer I recommend to release the pump everytime you use them, because if you dont the pressure builds up inside the air pocket and can cause the pump to wear down. Use about 10-12 pumps per skate, or whatever supports your ankle. However, for the goalie skates they probably last quite longer.
There is not a different between a hoagie and a grinder. They are both sandwiches on a long bun. Many times, the grinders are toasted.
Normally they will last at least 100,000 to 150,000 miles but there is no guarantee they will last that long. A partially clogged fuel filter will shorten the life of the pump. Running the car until it runs of of gas will also shorten it's life.
