there is no set time on how long it takes. becauuse many factor vary ie. size of breast, equipment. best way is to seal the chicken in a hot pan and then about 15 mins at 180C
if not sure it is cooked right the way trhough open it up or use a probe. it will be firm when cooked.
It depends on a few factors: what the recipe calls for; the oven temperature; and how many pounds of chicken it is. Chicken should always be cooked to an internal (inside the thickest point of the chicken) temperature of at least 165 degrees for at least 15 seconds. Baking time for a chicken breast varies from 20-45 minutes depending on the following factors:
1) The size/weight and amount of the chicken breast(s);
2) The baking temperature;
3) Whether the breast is boneless & skinless or bone-in with skin);
4) Whether or not the recipe includes other ingredients such as soups, sauces, gravies and/or breading.
Since the question specifies "a chicken breast" only, an average sized bone-in breast should be cooked in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 450 degrees or for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

How Long to Cook Stuffed Chicken Breast at 400 Degrees F

You should cook a rotisserie chicken for about an hour. You may need to cook the chicken longer if it is frozen.
I would defrost the chicken breast before baking. Otherwise, the meat may not cook properly throughout the entire piece.
around 20 minutes or until they are looking slightly brown.
45-50 minutes. but just keep an eye on it.
3-4 minutes at aroung 200-220C
A chicken should bake in an oven at 375 degrees F. The weight of the chicken determines how long it should cook, not the temperature it should cook at. A good rule of thumb is to cook it 20 minutes per pound.
you should cook it for at least an hour and cook it at about 350 degrees
Boneless chicken breast take 20 to 30 minutes to cook at 375 degrees. If you are cooking bone in chicken breast they will take 30 to 40 minutes. Both bone in and boneless are ready to eat when the internal temperature of the breast reaches 160 degrees.
About 20 minutes, make sure they are cooked all the way through.
As long as the chicken was thoroughly cooked and reached the appropriate temperature in all parts of the chicken, it should be safe to eat.
