Cranberry juice can be helpful in treating mild UTIs. However, for antibiotic treatment, a prescription is required.
Eventually, yes, as your body attacks the bacteria that caused the UTI, it will get better -- just takes a while. However, you can speed up the process by taking an antibiotic or, if you want to avoid medications, you can increase the acidity in the body by drinking cranberry juice -- the 100% juice, not the cocktail juice. I think Juicy Juice and Ocean Spray are the only ones that have a 100% cranberry juice out there.
wear non restrictive, clean cotton underwear. Maybe take up drinking cranberry juice (I kid you not, My Aunt had terrible, reoccurring UTI's and the juice/supplements work).
The symptoms of a UTI include a persistent urge to urinate or a burning sensation during urination. Antibiotics and drinking cranberry juice can help to alleviate these symptoms.
If an infant has a uti, you should defiantly treat with medication. However, cranberries have been known to help speed treatment in adults, so, at your infant's primary caregiver's discretion, and in addition to the medication, you should be able to give your infant diluted cranberry juice to help speed treatment.
Prevention of UTI's and kidney stones: 4 - 6 oz of pure cranberry juice daily. 475 - 500 mg cranberry powder capsules, 9 - 15 per day. Treatment of mild UTI's: 10 - 32 oz (.3 - 1 kg) daily. And more . . .
To an extent.. Cranberry juice is a natural cleansor although I would advise taking niacin too if youre trying to pass a drug test. Drink things containing niacin and drink a lot of water. cranberry juice works but if you drink too much of it, it could shut down your kidneys so drink large amounts of water and exercise.. drugs bind to adipose or fat cells so exercise and drink water and you'll pass no problem depending on how fast your metabolism is
I'd say you either have a urinary track infection aka uti or perhaps clamydia. with the uti try drinking lots of water and cranberry juice. if that doesn't help go to the doc, it might be an std
See a doctor. SOON. You can reduce the problems with a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection, sometimes called a bladder infection) with diet; cut back on sweets, and drink cranberry juice. If your urine contains a lot of sugar, it can promote UTIs; this is a real problem for diabetic women, who often shed a LOT of sugar in the urine. Cranberry juice will make your urine more acidic, which will cut back on bladder infections because the acidity makes it harder for bacteria to thrive. Even just increasing your water intake can reduce the problem, because you'll pee away some of the germs. Cranberry juice is also good for incipient gout.
