The idea is to cook it until the center of the tenderloin is about 165-170 degrees F, so it's going to depend a lot on how thick the piece of meat is and what temperature your oven is set at.

If you want it to taste any good, you really shouldn't cook pork tenderloin any higher than 375 degrees (350 is better). It'll take 45 minutes to an hour to cook a couple pounds of pork that way, so for your case I'd just extend it another half hour or so.

The single most important thing you can do: CHECK THE TEMPERATURE WITH A MEAT THERMOMETER every 20 minutes or so. That's the one way you really cannot go wrong.

The best way is to grill it over medium heat. Turning about every 5 minutes so it doesn't burn. Grill until pork is about 140 degrees. Remove from grill and place in foil for about 5-10 minutes. The pork will continue to cook. Be sure not to overcook pork tenderloin. also be sure to remove the silver skin before cooking.
