until its at full charge you should just check it with a battery tester no other way of knowing a lot of chargers have built in testers
I would say it depends on how long the battery sat around at the retailer. If you bought a battery that is very popular and fits many models then it probably has not sat around very long. If your battery is an oddball, and has been sitting, then it may need a charge. I would recommend a charger with an automatic setting which will cut off when the charge is complete. Rick.
Normally, no it should be fully charged if it is a fresh battery.
That charge time is usually called the "core charge" when you get a new device the battery is dead or has been on a sleep mode. Anyway that time is to give it a corecharge, meaning more battery life in the long term.
Yes when the Battery is Dead
How long does it take for an 18v battery to charge
it means that you can't charge the battery and you need to replace the dead batteries with new ones
I have learned that when i get new batteries for my hobby cars you want to fully charge the battery to the recommended hrs, you want to charge the battery fully because it will improve how long your battery will last on one charge and how long the battery's life will be.
A battery loses its charge over time. You need a new battery.
your alternator is not charging your battery..u need to get a new alternator
You might need a new charger or battery.
Battery may have a dead cell and need replacing.
A good auto battery will hold it's charge for at least 6 months or longer.
