The nuts and bolts ... the steps required by Jewish law ... can be accomplished in
10 to 15 minutes. Past that, different couples and their families may add appropriate
features to the ceremony, just as every reception following the ceremony is unique.
The ceremony may be enhanced with music, a speech or two, etc.

I attended an Orthodox Jewish wedding last evening ... June 22, 2009. The ceremony was done in a very formal way. It included all of the essential elements, plus two brief speeches in addition, and lasted about 30 minutes. My feeling is that the average is somewhat shorter ... perhaps 20 minutes typically.
Theoretically it could be done in under five minutes. Normally it will take twenty or thirty minutes or so, unless there is some delay, such as waiting for someone to arrive.
It largely depends on how religious the service is, and what temple you go to for the event. But most services should take around 2 hours.
Somewhere around a half hour or longer.
The actual marriage ceremony takes between thirty minutes to an hour. The party afterwards takes the rest of the night.

The Bar Mitzvah ceremony normally takes place in the synagogue on a Saturday morning when the weekly Torah portion is read.

For answering this question I need to know if you are going the the Bar Mitzvah or not. Usually in a Bar Mitzvah There is a ceremony with a party, and then it's customary to bring a present and not just a card. If you are not going to the Bar Mitzvah ceremony you can only send a card. Should you go to the Bar Mitzvah or not? It's totally up to you and how close you are with the family.

A Bar Mitzvah sponsor is someone who pays for the Bar Mitzvah ceremony for a boy whose family cannot afford it. At the ceremony itself, the sponsor doesn't have any specific responsibilities, but is likely to be given an honor such as an aliyah to the Torah-reading.
