Most insurance companies do not provide rental cars, they provide reimbursement. It also has to be a noted coverage in your policy. For example, say an insurer provides a rental car at $30/day up to 30 days with a cap of $900. You would have to come up with the money upfront, then your insurance company would ask for copies of the rental contract and fees that were paid. They would then send you a check for what you paid.

If you an uninsured motorist were involved in an accident that wasn't my fault will the guilty party's insurance pay for a rental car for you?

Your question is confusing. The way I read it, the one that caused the accident was uninsured, so how can that person's insurance company pay for your rental car? He has no insurance company.

I was in a car accident and my insurance will not provide a rental car even though i have full coverage can they do that?

You only get a rental if your policy specifies that you chose to pay extra to have rental car coverage. Having collision coverage is not the same thing as having rental. Collision coverage just covers the repairs to your vehicle. If you are not at fault for the accident, the other person's insurance will provide you with a rental car.

Could you get a rental car if i was in an accident?

A good percentage of rental car company business is around rentals connected to accidents and insurance. It's fairly common for an insurance company to pay for a person to have a rental car if that person's car is in the shop due to an accident. Even if you do not have insurance paying for the rental car, the simple fact of you having been in an accident is not going to prevent you from renting a car as long as your driver's license is valid and you have the ability to pay.

When you are not at fault for an accident does the insurance company owe for a comparable rental vehicle?

They owe you for a rental vehicle, but it does not necessarily have to be, "comparable". It depends on the state. Some states will require that the vehicle have the same seating capacity, while others require that they only provide you with basic transportation. The type of vehicle is not a factor, so if you drive a Lexus, don't expect the insurance company to rent you another Lexus. Check with your state's Department of Insurance to see what the insurance company is required to provide you with.

If you are a victim of hit-and-run accident caused by a rental car driver can you claim the damages from this rental car company directly?

You can only claim against the rental company if the driver took out their insurance. If he has his own separate insurance, that is where you need to make the claim.

If you are in an accident where other driver is at fault and the insurance company doesn't pay for the rental upfront what do you do?

Take the driver to small claims court for the cost of the rental.

When in a car accident that is not your fault dose the other Insurance company pay for the car rental Insurance?

Yes, as long as you had comprehensive and collision insurance on your own policy. Rental companies require you to have these and the other party will not pay for them.

Is there any recourse if your auto insurance company decides not to cover you if you have an accident in a rental vehicle?

Your insurance company did not just decide not to cover you if you have an accident in a rental vehicle. You policy does not provide you with this type of coverage due to the circumstances. You could have prevented this situation by calling your insurance agent and asking this question before you rented the vehicle. If you were just renting a vehicle you could have paid the extra few dollars to the rental car company for physical damage deductible waiver coverage. There are several things you should have done before renting a vehicle that would have prevented this situation.

Who is responsible for damage from car wreck in rental car?

If you purchased the rental company's insurance option then the rental company's insurance is responsible. If you did not purchase the insurance option, then YOUR insurance is responsible.

Is an insurance company responsible for paying for motorcycle rental while your motorcycle is being repaired after an accident that was the other parties fault?

If the rental coverage is included in your policy, probably. However if the other parties insurance is accepting responsiblity for the damage then I would be asking them for a rental.

Will the Insurance Company pay for a rental car if the accident is your fault and if you have full coverage ins?

Only if you have bought the extra coverage to have a rental. "Full coverage" usually just means you bought liability, comprehensive, and collision insurance.

Do you pay insurance on a insurance co provided rental car?

In the case of Enterprise, yes. If your auto insurance covers the cost of a car rental while your own is being repaired, that coverage typically only covers the base cost of the rental itself, and not any additional fees such as accident insurance on the rental car, additional authorized drivers, etc. Be aware that the amount that insurance policies provide for rental cars is typically much lower than the rental car would normally go for. Many agencies, Enterprise included, have special rates for insurance claim customers (which is why you are required to present a claim number from your insurance company for rental purposes), and the rental agencies are accustomed to dealing with insurance companies. Insurance rentals make up a substantial portion of rental business.
