No. It's really the leaves that need the sunlight, for photosythesis, so without that the plant will starve to death. Without water the whole plant will die, just like any living organism in the same predicament.
Normal surface-grown plants need sunlight to grow at all. Deep-sea plants, those in volcanic vents, or underground fungi, will all grow without any sunlight at all.
in couple hours. flowers cannot function without sunlight. in about 8 hours the flower won't recover
No they cant live without sunlight this is because, plants need sunlight for photo synthisis

a plant would most likely grow better in a pot as long as you use soil bought from a store. in the ground, the potential of harmful bacteria and disease affecting the plant is greater than if you have it in a pot. as long as you give the plant enough sunlight and all the nutrients it needs, your plant will be better off growing in a pot.
A hypothesis issimply a sentence that says what you think the outcome will be. for example: I belive plants can grow without water because soil does not carry vital nutrients. (soil carries nutrients but they arent needed)
yes but they will be taller because they will keep growing trying to find light. yes but they will be taller because they will keep growing trying to find light.
Plants need carbon dioxide and water to produce glucose which can be used for energy. But they cannot use these molecules on their own. They need sunlight to split the water into its constituent hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen is transported to ultimately reduce carbon dioxide to glucose in what is called the Calvin Cycle. The oxygen is given off as waste. Multitudinous glucose molecules can be strung together into starch and stored, to be used when there is no sunlight, but this starch-store will eventually be used up and, if no more light is given to the plant, it will not be able to continue glucose production and will die as glucose is its energy source.
a plant in the dark will grow faster but it's not going to last long because it does not have sunlight. sunlight is what make a plant grow and it would not be the same because it does not have chlorphyll so it will not be green. so we will know it going to be a different color.
You will be waiting for an eternity, because any plant will not grow in a dark place. Plants, including corn, need sunlight to grow. They will not grow if they are not exposed to sunlight.
The plants will die because the plants need a sunlight to grow...

No. Plants grow faster with more sunlight and more nutrients. The wind does not affect their growth.
Groundnuts (peanuts ) grow underground. The plant, however, grows in the sunlight and blooms like any other plant. After pollination, the stems of the fruiting body turn downward and implant their heads into the soil, where the nut (seed) grows.
How does the human body react to long periods without sunlight?
How long it takes a plant to grow three inches depends on the plant. Mile A Minute plant can grow three inches in an hour.

Not very long. About a day or so, seeing as plants need nutrients to survive. Without nutrients, the plant and its cells will shrivel up and die. Along with the plant.
If you keep it in hydroponic fluid it can actually grow. but without that it will die within a few hours...
As long as the roots are in the ground the plant will grow towards the light.
