Venus is unusual in its extremely slow rotation, taking nearly 243 Earth days to spin once on its axis (243.02 Earth days or 5832.4 Earth hours). Additionally, and probably related to this, it spins east to west, in a clockwise or "retrograde" rotation.

The result is that Venus's "day" is shorter than its year (about 225 Earth days). The combination of the retrograde motion and its circling of the Sun means that someone on Venus's equator that might actually "see" the Sun would experience a solar day (sunrise to sunrise) of about 116.75 days (2802 Earth hours), with the Sun rising in the west.

It takes 245 days for venus to make one complete rotation. That is considered 1 year and 2 month's in earth days. That is one long rotation i wouldn't no what to do in that place plus you cant live there any way because it has clouds that rain sulfuric acid and that is not healthy and plus it has a 96% carbon dioxide level and that is not what we need so far earht is the only place you could live on but they as in scientist are trying to find another place to that living people can live on so if they do find a place then i will get my stuff and pack it up and go live there. That would be awsome living on a whole nother plant and not having to live on earth all the time and it is getting worse and worse every day so if they find a nother planet i would go live on it now you guy answer my ? would you go and live on another planet if we had the chioce to or not?

now i see why everything is so difficult in life scientist finding new things and every thing is getting wierder by the day right now so if you ever figure out if why there's goingto be another planet and if you have any more ?'s ask them right here then i will try my best to answers your ? see you bye bye.
