Most schools don't send the paperwork through until the add/drop period to make sure you are going to stay in those classes and them not charging the va for classes you decided to drop then doing more work to give the $ back. So from start date of school could be 4 to 8 weeks. Example if you started class on August 15th it would be October 1st but, if you started on September 1st it would most likely be November 1st. Remember they submit it after the add drop period and always gets paid out on the 1st. So if gets approved sep 2nd then guess what you have to wait until the first of the next month. Hope this helps some people. Os3 worked at navy college for a year.
