How long does the average person dream in a lifetime?
Well, every night, you dream for roughly 2 hours. So, multiply that by 365 (nights in a year as well as days) and then multiply that by the average person's life span: 70 years. In all, that should be about 51,100 hours each night a person dreams.

Not as long as you might think. You typically have several dreams during the night, but you'll only remember the one just before you wake up. They normally only last about a minute, but your mind makes you feel like they last longer
The CDC reports the median number of lifetime female sexual partners for men was seven; the median number of male partners for women was four. Answer . About 107,500,500,500 cans.. ^ I'm not really sure who answered this but there is no way that this answer can be true, and simple math will show you why:. Let's say for argument's sake you live to be 80 years old..... 80 x 365.25 = 29,220 (This is how many days are in 80 years, includ…ing leap years). 29,220 x 24 = 701,280 (This is how many hours are in those days). 701,280 x 60 = 42,076,800 (This is how many minutes are in those hours). 107,500,500,500 / 42,076,800 = 2554.86397etc. (How many cans you would have to drink in a minute for that answer to be correct) . So, rounding up, you would have to drink approximately 2,555 cans of soda per minute (not figuring in all of the hours you would actually be asleep or a baby in all of this, making the answer even more ridiculous) to drink 107,500,500,500 cans of soda in a lifetime. On an average and as an estimate a person would blink 5,606,400 time in one year. If that person is awake 16 hours per day. In 80 years a person would have blinked 448,512,000 times 448,512,000 x.03 seconds per blink = 13,455,360 seconds of blinking / 60 seconds in a minute = 224,256 minutes / 60… minutes an hour =3,737.6 hours / 24 hours a day = 155.73 days of darkness in an 80 year span. I am currently an electrical engineer. I started working in 1974. I am now 51 years old. If I retire at age 62 I estimate I will earn 40.8 million dollars in my lifetime. ahaha yeah ok so you make a million/year? yeah right. besides, this doesn't help the question in any way, shape, or form. i…f you really do make that much then you are far from an average person, whom the asker was inquiring about. you didn't even bother to mention any statistics or numbers for any widespread demographic so why even post anything at all-just to show off and inflate your internet ego? that being said, from the other sites I've read through there's a general consensus somewhere a little over 2 million in a lifetime without calculating the deduction of taxes. If you've gone to college and obtained a degree you'll make significantly more, assuming favorable circumstances. If you haven't you'll likely come out much lower and balance out the numbers. http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa072602a.htm --- this site had a great breakdown of numbers and facts, if anyone wanted to sate a little deeper curiosity on the subject of earnings and schooling. An average person doesn't earn as much as this person is talking about, he shouldn't have even put this. He is just lying and bragging. I disagree. He is right. I have estimated that by the time I am 65, I would have earned about 70million dollars. I know it sounds great, but one must take off taxes, buying a house and everything else!! Let's put this into perspective! If you worked 50 years of your life and you started when you were 17, averaged $100,000 per year you would have earned $5,000,000 (5 million), and if you were making $150,000 when you retired and your retirement paid you 75% of your ending salary ($150,000x.75=112,500). If you live until you are 85--18 years after you retire--that would give you an additional $2,025,000, just a little over 7 million earned in a life that is not only long but also enjoyed living well above the average income. In short- you could not make $70 million or even $40 million in your lifetime unless you were making 3 million a year for around 20 years--in which case you would not be discussing it here with the rest of us average people. I think I will stick to around $2.5 million! (MORE)

About 500,000 for a average smoker. According to official 'statistics', the 'average' smoker smokes around 100 cigarettes a week or 5,000 a year. Assuming that the 'average' smoker smokes throughout his or her adult life and that smoking knocks 12 years off a smoker's life, the total number smok…ed would be more like 250,000. For comparison, exposure to secondhand smoke in the workplace is estimated by independent studies to be equivalent to smoking between 2 and 6 cigarettes a YEAR. (MORE)

Given that The median years a person stays in one job is 4.1 years (2008), an average person will have to have 7-10 jobs. I'll tell you why, a person works to save money and use the rest on current expenditures. So, they have to work "twice" to cover retirement years. If someone is going to retire… for 10-20 years, they have to work 20-40 years, or probably more to account for inflation and the higher cost of living. With that 4.1 median years of employee tenure, the person has to have multiple of jobs. Of course, there will be people who can stay in 3-4 jobs throughout their lifetime. It depends on education, age, and gender. (MORE)

Most people are never involved in an auto crash with two moving vehicles in their life. I don't think there's any one time for anger; it happens from time to time, depending on the situations we face. If we can put any timeframe on it, perhaps as we leave childhood, where things are done for us and life is carefree (for the most part), anger can arise because we're faced with bigger pr…oblems. And as we leave middle-age (around 50), there might be more anger because we regret not doing things we thought we would do. But it isn't a constant emotion for most people; it's just something that happens and we deal with it with the intention to get back to being balanced & productive. (MORE)
