Depends on if you have a previous version of World of Warcraft or not.
The entire game is about 25 gigs - if you are using the streaming launcher your download speed will determine the time it takes. If you only have part of the game to download then the time will be significantly less and if your internet can handle it you can play the game while it downloads and installs content after the core data has been applied.
