No, the desert tortoise has the official status of 'threatened' but not endangered at this time (2014). If populations continue to decline, they could become endangered in the future, however.

There are at least ten different species of Tarsier throughout the world. Of these species, the Philippine tarsier is near threatened and has been since the 1960's, the Horsfield's tarsier is vulnerable and was listed as such in 2008, the Dian's tarsier is vulnerable, the Peleng tarsier is endangered, the Sangihe tarsier is endangered, the Spectral tarsier is threatened, and the Siau Island tarsier is critically endangered.
