Quilts can be any size. There are 5 millimeter quilts and the names project quilt is about 300 meters. My wife has a quilt in this project. There are quilts for baby beds, single beds, etc.

A typical quilt is probably between about 2.3 and 2.5 meters.

Quilt size depends entirely on the type of quilt being made and on the individual quilter's discretion. A bed quilt is made to fit the type of bed on which it well be used, whether a crib, child's bed, twin or bunk bed, queen, king or California king. The quilter may want the quilt to cover only the top of the bed, or to hang down over the mattress to meet a skirt or dust ruffle, or to drape all the way to the floor. In each case, the specific quilt will be sized to that quilter's preference.

For example, a crib quilt that might be 36" by 54" would be .9144 by 1.3716 meters

....................... a king bed quilt that is 72" by 84" would be 1.8288 by 2.1336 meters
