Get muslin cloth. MASH the fruit, remove seeds and skin. Cover the mush in the cloth and leave in the vodka for a day or so.
Then come back and take the edges of the cloth, squeeze the juices out into the vodka and throw out/eat the mush.
Or get fruit juice and mix it like everyone else.

Fresh pineapple soaked in Stole vodka will last for years as long as the pineapple is totally covered by the vodka and not in contact with the air within a closed container. The alcohol will inhibit the growth of bacteria's and the liquid will inhibit oxidation. By the way, I am going to try in recipe, sound delicious. J
Blackberries (the fruit) will last about three months.
It would evaporate over time but that would take many days. In my house it would last about 2 hours but that has nothing to do with evaporation.
If they are left out to long they might get contaminated.(However I''ve rarely seen a fruit mouse last that long uneaten)
