Depends how bad you were caught for
Yes, as long as you are not suspended for Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
They will probably try to deny coverage on your claim. Did you inform them that your license was suspended? Probably not, I imagine.
refuse to take a test to show you are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Not in Canada. If your license is suspended, then any insurance claim that resulted from you driving while suspended would not be covered. If the car was damaged and it was parked and not being operated, then that is covered. But not if you are driving it.
If you're caught with it in your car, you almost certainly will. If you're driving under the influence at any age, you definitely will.
It's never a good idea to drive with a suspended license, in any state. Here's why. When you are caught -- and eventually, you will be caught, you will not be allowed to drive the vehicle away from where you are stopped. You'll be required to call for assistance to either drive the car under the control of a licensed driver, or to have it towed away. When you are in an accident while driving with a suspended license, this offence will compound whatever charges are laid on you based on the accident.
If you are driving under the influence, if you've been convicted of drug offenses, driving without insurance, and excessive moving violations are some of the ways to suspend a license in Houston.
There is no such thing as a "statute of limitatations" for driving limitations. You are suspended for the entire length of whatever suspension was imposed upon you, or until you do whatever it is that is required of you to be re-instated.

Sadly if the cop is a dick he can... The kinder officers will not but if he is an @$$#0!3 he can do it and is with in full regulation. But this is California law, it may be different in other states.
You are going to lose your license. If you are under 21 DUI laws are ZERO-TOLERANCE.
DUR means Driving Under Restraint, it applies when someone drives with a suspended license, drunk, without possession of a license, minor driver's license so on.
