The general rule of thumb is that one pound feed 5-6 people. So go general, one pound feeds five, ten pounds should feed fifty. Think about it though, if you are considering feed spagetti to say a group of football players at perhaps a pregame dinner, it is better to think more (much more) than less. I would, from personal experience, double the amount you would cook for the average group.
I usually provide 3/4 cup per person, some sauce will dehydrate while sitting, or while cooking. A typical pasta portion will have 1/2 cup of sauce. So count on about 2 1/2 gallons of sauce if you are making sauce or at the very least 2 #10 cans plus a quart if you aren't making it.
A serving size of spaghetti sauce is 1/2 cup or 4 ounces. So one 16-ounce jar of sauce would contain four servings. Therefore, twelve and a half 16-ounce jars of sauce would be needed to feed 50 people. (50 divided by 4 = 12.5)
One jar for every pound of macaroni
A lot!

It would take roughly 150 16oz cans of spaghetti sauce to feed 300 people. If it is a main course, then there should probably be more cans of pasta sauce on hand. The sauce will not be filling enough with just 150 cans.
Normally You should make 2oz per person. This number can lower if you are making Chickenparm. Or the amount could be higher if making a light sauce.
About 14 pounds of noodles, 10 (67 oz) jars of sauce and 6 pounds of meat. Good luck!!

Twenty 28 oz. cans of tomatoes should be enough. However, I'd use 25. Twenty 28 oz. cans of tomatoes should be enough. However, I'd use 25.
About 13 jars. For American Italian dining, figure 4 ounces of sauce per person (assuming you are doing spaghetti) 4 x 200= 800, divided by 64 is 12.5 Don't forget the grated cheese.
It depends on a few things: Is it for making a meat sauce? Typically a meat sauce will have about 1 lb of meat for every gallon of sauce. a gallon of sauce is enough for about 21 (3/4 cup) portions so 10 gallons of sauce and 10 pounds of meat are needed. Are you making a spaghetti and meat dinner? then about 1/4 pound of cooked hamburg per person would be needed PLUS the meat sauce, so 60 pounds of hamburg are needed. Are you making spaghetti and meatballs? Then about 1/2 to 3/4 pounds of meat for meatballs are needed, PLUS the meat sauce so then 110 - 160 pounds of hamburg might be needed.
That is approximately 4 pounds dry.
Just make rice, or macaroni and cheese with bbq chicken. If you can make that and feed it to whoever you want to make the dish for then I bet they will enjoy it. Spaghetti and tomato sauce would be easy and good as well.

Figure 8 servings per dry pound of spaghetti. For 35 servings, then, you'd need 8 servings x N pounds = for 35 people N = 4.375 lbs. of spaghetti So you need to buy 5 pounds of spaghetti to serve 35 people. Personally, I don't think 8 servings per pound is enough for each person. I like spaghetti too much. I would personally figure 5 servings per pound. That would mean: 5 servings x N pounds = for 35 people N = 7 lbs. of spaghetti. But maybe I'm too much of a piggy about it!
