Based on my research (consisting mostly of US, CAN, UK album certifications) Bob's records released by island have sold upwards of 70 million to date. This does not include official counts from Africa, Asia, Jamaica, and South America to name a few, where unofficial estimates sight millions of more sales. The total also does not include the many bootlegged and pirated albums from STUDIO ONE to the Lee 'Scratch' Perry era that have been circulating, priamarily in the British underground, since the 1960's. Estimates of Bob's album sales have ranged as high as 300 million and in all likelihood are not under 150-200million. A previous answer said 25,000,000 and rising. this is NOT true. Bob Marley's best seller, the posthumously released "Legend" has sold 25 million copies by itself.
