None. A pregnant woman who smokes crack cocaine (or does regular cocaine) puts her unborn baby at risk for all kinds of health problems and birth defects. However, a baby cannot be born addicted to crack (or regular cocaine), because crack cocaine, and regular cocaine, are not physically addictive. Crack cocaine, and regular cocaine, are highly psychologically addictive, but not physically addictive (meaning, there are no physical withdrawal symptoms).

Preferably 13.3 thousand babies a year or 3.4% out of 1000 from the year of 2009. 31% have breathing problems, 19% have low birth weight, feeding problems are at 18%, and 2.3% of babies have seizures from drug addictions. This means approx. one drug addicted baby is born every hour! The publicly financed Medicaid program estimated that it cost 720 million dollars to fix the problems of drug addicted babies in 2009. Back in the 1980 and 1990's, it was more common for babies to be born with addictions to crack, ( cocaine ) but today, babies are born addicted to stronger drugs, such as Vicodin and Oxycontin, which are powerful prescription painkillers.Maine, Kentucky, and Florida are states that are hit harder than others.
