It took over 2 million stone blocks.

The most famous and the biggest of the Pyramids the Great Pyramid of king Khufu at Giza is said to contain over 2 million stone blocks.

If I am correct I think the correct answer is 2.3 million stone blocks.
about 2.3 millions of blocks
More than 1 million, 2.3 million in fact each averaging 2.5 tons each
Estimated number is 2,300,000 limestone and granite blocks and 144,000 polished white limestone blocks used for the casing. The bulk of the pyramid is made from limestone quarried close to the Pyramid site.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu was built more than 4,500 years ago from 2.3 million blocks.
There were about 2.5 million limestone blocks that were used to build the Great Pyramid.

According to the ancient Greek historian Herodotus 100,000 slaves toiled for twenty years to build the Great Pyramid of king Khufu. Modern estimates put the number at 20,000 to 30,000. Some say that they were all slaves; a mixed workforce of skilled workers and slaves; or peasant farmers conscripted during the inundation of the Nile when work on the land was not possible. Take your pick.

The ancient Greek scholar Herodotus visited Egypt around 450BC when the Great Pyramid was already 2000 years old. He was told by his guide that it took 100,000 slaves twenty years to build.

Most modern historians accept the twenty years but believe it was more like 20,000 or 30,000 . It is thought there were about 5,000 skilled workers and administrators. The rest were labourers whether they were slaves or not is for you to decide.

nobody knows exactly how many people it took but it took thousands of slaves and farmers over a long period of time.

The Greek historian Herodotus (c.450BC) was told by his Egyptian guide that 100,000 naked slaves toiled for twenty years to build the great pyramid of Khufu.

The answer to that question is actually unknown. The people they used were slaves and therefore they did not document how many they had working at any time or how many died.
