It can be quite a few, in one incident when I was in elementary school on the way home for lunch almost my entire class was actively bullying me. Perhaps 20 in the one incident! In the same year there were other kids that bullied me too.
Not all bullies will end up in jail. It depends on how bad of a bully this person is.

Well, everyone can bully if you are bossy or teasing your brother or sister its still bullying everyone can do and they don't notice it.
Actually only 1/50 of all people will actually stand up to bullies in my experience. I've been bullied countless times before, and no one ever helped me, not even my friends. Many people who stand up to bullies failed, and will be beat up, teased, or embarrassed. So if your are helped when you are bullied, be friends with the person who helped you( and succeeded to stop the bully). Not only it will stop bullies from bothering you, it will also be a very nice person to cheer you up.
some bullies feel as if they need a lot of people to watch what they do and it makes the bully feel better because so many people are laughing and liking what he/she is doing to the victim.

There are many branches of Christianity so a blanket question cannot be answered. Some Christians have a fuller, more interactive daily life with the Scripture and are continually growing in the Word. These would not bully anyone. Of course, the term 'bully' is relative.
