1800 calories is a well balanced diet if you're not excerising. It is used for diabetics worldwide, due to the fact that a lot of diabetics are not able to excerise, and I being one of those. So an 1800 calorie diet is well balanced. But still, it sometimes mostly depends on your age and sex. I mean, it would be different from a two and a twenty year old.
