Numbers 35:6-7 sets the number of Cities of Refuge at 6, in addition 42 cities where to be provided for the Levites.

Deuteronomy 4:41-49 identifies 3 of the 6 cities that Moses established east of the Jordan. Those cities were Bezer, Ramoth and Golan.

Deuteronomy 19:1-13 established the rules for safety in these cities.

In Joshua 20:7-8 the following cities are identified: Kedesh, Shechem, Kiriath Arba (Hebron), Bezer, Ramoth, and Bashan.

From Exodus 13 one can learn of the lands which were promised to Abraham in covenant (see Genesis 17), I am not aware of every city in the land of Canaan being mentioned. The Canaanites would have been the sons of Cain. (Children of Satan and Eve), Jebus would have been one of the cities of the Canaanites, which was renamed Jerusalem.after being taken by our Father and his Hebrews.

Exodus 13

3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

4 This day came ye out in the month Abib.

5 And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

How many years between Promised Land and King David?

The question as written makes no sense. The Promised Land is a place, not an event. David was King of the United Kingdom of Israel which was in the Promised Land. If the question is asking, according to the Bible, how many years passed between the arrival in the Promised Land and David's ascension to the throne, that period is considered to be roughly 400 years. Historically, it is assumed to be a little less (roughly 200-300 years) assuming that the events of the Bible are Historical.

How does a Jew get to the promised land?

Well, there are several flights daily, operated by a number of major air carriers from many countries. Still, some prefer to go by sea. It's relatively difficult to go by land, considering the political mindset of the nations that border the promised land.

How many miles from Egypt to Promised Land?

By walking, approximately 2 weeks. The above answer is absolutely right. The reason it took the Israelites 40 years was because of their unbelief in not wanting to enter the promised land. They also went by a more round about route which would have made it take a month or two longer anyway. Much of the 40 years was spent at Kadesh-Barnea in the Negev region.
