The U.S. Navy currently fields the F/A-18 C/D Hornet (Fighter) & F/A-18 E/F (Multi-role Fighter) for carrier and land based combat operations. The U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) uses the F-16 Falcon for training.
Though the F-35C Lighting II Multi-role Fighter is scheduled for Navy use, it's currently only in service as a training platform, and hasn't yet been deployed for active service in the fleet (assuming they don't cancel the program).
