Just 1 one football field is approximately 100 metres long and 70 metres wide which makes 7000 square meters.
Answer A mile is 1,760 yards long and a football field is 100 yards long. Therefore if you fit them end to end, you can fit 17.6 fields inside. … However, if you fit them side by side you can do the same arithmetic using the width of the field, which I don't happen to know offhand. Answer 18
There are a 120 yards, including end zones, in a football field. There are 360 feet in 120 yards, and 5280 feet is a mile, then there is .06 miles in a football field Updat…ed edit: I believe they were asking about the circumference, you are talking about the diameter. 4 laps around a football track = just about 1 mile. Diameter, however, is not .06 miles - it is rounded incorrectly. The number is 0.0684.... It is actually 0.07 miles in one end to the other a football field, not the track around it. The number looks small, but look at it this way: .07, then .14 (after two) .21 (after three)... the number rises fairly quickly.... Yeah, I know, it's only off by one-hundredth - oh well, just trying to give a good answer! :) A football field is about 1/17 of a mile.
Assuming the 3.1 miles is length and is at least 53 yards wide, you can fit 45 100 yard fields each with 2 10 yard end zones. There would be almost no room between each field….
35.2 American football fields.
1,196,800 American football fields.
Not counting the endzones it is 1760 (yards in a mile) x 9 miles / 100 = 158.4 football fields. If you count the endzones you are adding 20 yards to the end of the 100 making …it 132 fields.
300,000 miles = 5,280,000 American football fields.
400 sq. miles = 27,878,400 sq. ft. x 100 = 2,787,840,000 sq. ft.

24 whole fields (US, NFL) with some room left over.
4,132,187 US, NFL fields would fit in that area.
