There are about 75000 deaths each year just in the united states!
In the UK its about 300, but as a whole in the world, there aren't many deaths, especially in comparison to other drugs such as alcohol and tobacco. To add to this…, keep in mind that ECSTASY RELATED DEATHS is very, very, very different to ECSTASY INDUCED DEATHS. Ie, some idiot might decide to drive a bunch of friends home after a big night out, he'll have 5 pople in the car including himself and he is on Ecstasy. If he crashes and dies and kills everyone, that is regarded as FIVE ecstasy related deaths. But ZERO ecstasy induced deaths.
Every year just over 30,000 people die in the US from gunshot wounds. Every two years more US citizens are killed by gunshot wounds than were lost in the entire Vietnam war. … Lets look at this another way. With a population of 310 million and an annual death rate of 8.3/1000 , we can calculate that 2,573,000 people die in the US each year. Of which 30,000 die of Gun Shot - so if you live in the US you have a 1.166% chance that you will die of Gun Shot wound. The rate of gunshot deaths is about 8 times that of economically comparable nations. Approximately 8,000 homicides annually occur with gunshot wounds. About 16,000 commit suicide with handguns. Nearly 1,000 die in gun related accidents each year. The number of persons shot by police is slightly elusive.
Every day, gang members kill other gang members even in their gang. They do this if the gang member has not made enough money from selling drugs, or for a reason i dont know a…bout. According to the Human Factors quarterly journal, "Cell phone distraction causes 2,600 deaths and 330,000 injuries in the United States every year" (2005). The same study repo…rted that motorists who are engaged in cell phone conversations while driving are less capable than drunk drivers with blood alcohol levels exceeding .08. These statistics are frightening considering how pervasive cell phones are in our society. With a greater awareness of the potential cell phones have to distract drivers, many states, and even cities, are adopting laws that limit or restrict the use of cell phones while driving. It is important to be aware of these laws while travelling in other states and visiting other cities so you do not inadvertently break the law. Even in states and cities where there are no restrictions on cell phone use by motorists, limiting cell phone use while driving will make you a more attentive driver, ready to react when the unexpected occurs.

Very few. Cocaine kills maybe 300 tops a year. Most of the time it only kills users who are dumb and don't know what the hell they are doing and end up O.D.ing or they have He…art disease/problems. So most healthy and smart people don't die from cocaine use. There are more deaths associated with caffeine then cocaine a year. Cocaine and caffeine are almost similar when it comes to health problems and addiction. ADDIT Cocaine is almost impossible to O.D on solely. What causes death is the combination of other substances most of the users have in there system, particularly alcohol, which has a chemical reaction to cocaine...and in excess will kill you. Actually deaths related to cocaine use are frequent and still on the rise, even though its dangers are well known. Cocaine is so dangerous because it can rarely be purchased in pure form. Street cocaine is often counterfeit or cut with other substances in order to increase profits for the seller. Counterfeit or street cocaine can include a number of different stimulants, anestethics, or other substances that can prove destructive or even lethal. While 'dumb' people are victim to cocaine overdose and death, there are many INTELLIGENT, POWERFUL, AND EXPERIENCED drug users who are taken by surprise by the instantaneous, adverse consequences of the drug's effects.
