If you are one of those parents that make your 11-13 year old children go to sleep at 9:30pm maybe you shall reconsider it. it is a proven fact that most people who stay up at least until 10:00pm become more calm, you become more inquisitive, and you have an easier time going to bed, which can result in calmness as presented before. when you have them go to bed around 9:15pm-9-40pm they feel forced to go to bed at that time even though they're body is not used to it-(not tired). this is just a reminder that if you have children ranging from 11 to 13 years old maybe even 14, it will do them a whole lot of good to keep them up to at least 10:00pm. --Sincerely Dr.Smith,

about 8 to 10 hours of sleep
8 hours,,,...
12 hours
I'm quite sure they need at least 7 hours.
Children need 8 hours.
9 - 10 hours
8 - 10 hours.
Depends on the length of your "sleep cycles", but generally 7-9 hours.
10-11 hours every night are the optimum hours of sleep an eight-year-old should get.
if you mean how many hours you should sleep in a year it would be 3,650 hours of sleep for a regular year not a leap year
