The ASPCA estimates that 5 to 7 million animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. 2 to 3 million of those get adopted. Answer Over a million, but many do not… survive... Only lucky animals get to have a loving home that gives them water, shelter, and food. Sometimes they don't even make it out of the vet from there checkups and shots and disease check. Most have to be put asleep or are neglected and abused and are left to die. Please take care of the animal you have, and do not have a mean pet around kids. Please only have the amount of pets you can handle. If not, please find them a better home. For someone that can handle the situation better. If not, try your best to find a place like the humane society or a vet or a pound. Thank you, and please let your pet have a life.
Around 135,000 children are adopted each year in the United States. Most are foster children first.
Thousands of animals get adopted each year.
That depends on the year, month, day etc. Are you wanting to know how many for this year only? If so then visit Adoption Crossroads, a site owned and operated by Joe Soll, he …has a running tally of children adopted that increases hourly at the top of his site's header. All time... its hard to say because the govt. won't release those statistics. You also need to take into consideration if they are international, domestic or private or foster care adoptions. So many different things to take into consideration its hard to say. My estimate is definitely into the millions of all time, for SURE.
According to statistics from 2009, about 3,000,000 - 4,000,000 dogs of all ages were adopted per year. I am not exactly sure how many of those were puppies, but it was probabl…y a lot (people like to get dogs as puppies).
About 7.1 million a YEAR
