The only true surfer in the band, the member from whom the concept of recording surf music was derived, was Dennis Wilson, the middle Wilson brother. While Brian had had a go at the sport in his youth, he never fully caught the bug in the same way as his younger brother.

∙ 13y agoDennis was the only "real" surfer. He enjoyed it the most and did it the most, Mike Love surfed as well, but his infatuation with the sea was nowhere near Dennis'.
