According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 9/2011, there were 14 million unemployed int he US. This breaks down into: under 5 weeks unemployed - 2.77 million; 5-14 weeks - 2.9 million; and 15 and over weeks - 8.3 million. See the Related Link below for more information.
