Approxametly, i think it would be 2 million, in the United states, of course. Other answers say it is 300,000. There are many varieties of answers. It is very dangerous to be in an accident, so do not drink and drive, or text and drive, then the amount will raise, and you will be a number in that amount. :(

2012 is the last year that there is data available. In 2012 there were 33,561 people were killed in automobile accidents. This is 10.691 fatalities per 100,000 population. The worst year was 1972 when 54,589 people lost their lives in auto accidents.
