According to reports in the media 802 people have been killed in the earthquake to date (3rd of March 2010), however a Spanish language article linked to in Wikipedia states t…hat this was an over estimation and official figures released on the 15th of May 2010 have revised this figure to a lower value of 521 confirmed fatalities with 56 missing.
