Atheism is a growing wordview in China, as it is in the Western world, but statistics are not really available. Just as Westerners often describe themselves as Christian for cultural reasons, although they do not really hold religious beliefs, so also Chinese people often describe themselves as Buddhists for cultural reasons, although they do not really hold religious beliefs. Nevertheless, most Chinese are respectful of Buddhists monks and appear to hold at least some religious beliefs.
one-million people
Buddha is not a country.
Buddha is still important today to Buddhist because they still have respect for this guy like Christians we still believe in Jesus but he is dead but not dead in our spiritual life's
Hindu people has their gods and goddesses while the Buddhists has their god Buddha , Buddhists believe more on what Buddha taught when he is still alive.. Hindu worships many gods and goddesses..
Us Buddhists believe so. After almost 2,600 years people are still converting to Buddhism because it answers the question of how to live a happy life.
Yes,Buddha is not considered a God. Buddha is to Hinduism as Jesus is to Christianity. Gautama Buddha was born a Hindu, but tried to reform Hinduism.Buddhism has been referred to as Hinduism lite for that reason. Buddha founded Buddhism in India, but it is much more popular in China than India where Hinduism is still the dominant religion.Hindus actually only believe in one god, Brahma, but they believe that Brahma has many faces. The fact that they have names for the many faces of Brahma leads to misunderstandings and is one of the reasons for conflicts with Muslims.
it is just the same as most cultures people add and remove stuff from religion
Most people believe it was in BodhGaya, beneath a Bodhi tree. There is supposedly an ancestor of that tree still there, with many pilgrims arriving there yearly at the anniversary of the buddha's enlightenment.
yes, beacuase all the teachings of the buddha, the four noble truths, are still known today and still have an affect on us....
Absolutely. There's still people who believe everything.
no I believe they ended the series.
China is where Confucianism. I'm not sure if any other places still believe, but it is greatly influenced in China.
