These numbers make baseball/softball the #1 played in US. compared to Basketball at 38million and soccer at 18 million. Worldwide soccer is the number 1 played sport. This is due to the simple fact its and easy to play and requires little equipment. In countries like Japan, So Korea, Dominican, Venezuela baseball is top played sport.
