It would be difficult to calculate due to different events such as Christmas (where it would be extremely busy).

One thing I know for certain is that you must be willing to spend a fair amount of money if visiting The Gherkin restaurant in London.

The Gherkin a skyscraper located in the financial district of London stands 591 ft and has the floor area of 47,950 sq ft. Designed to accommodate office, retail and residential. The occupation level varies as pertaining to inflow of traffic and the number of employees either temporary, permanent or part-time.

Due to the factor that the Gherkin sits upon the site of the old Baltic Exchange building that was badly damaged via a bomb attack on April 10, 1992 that also severely damage other surrounding buildings including some historic structures. For this reason exact numbers of occupancy is not readily divulged - for security and safety issues.

Many safety features are in place for evacuation and fire- it is most probably based of space and allowable occupancy for safety and evacuation a maximum proportion of occupancy stands around 3,000 to 6,000 at any given regular basis a maximum output number via traffic not tabulated in this estimate. Nor considerations for outsource employment staff due to technology that may drive these numbers lower. Of the buildings 41 floors and area may hold a maximum via traffic allowance up to 8,000- 14,000 possible but not at any key given time.
