Most college teams have around 125 players on average; a mix of walk-ons and scholarship players. The NCAA limit on scholarships is 85. Keep in mind, when they practice during the week, you have 1st, 2nd and 3rd string players on both offense and defense. That's 66 players just to fill in the depth chart. You have the walk-ons who have dreams of playing - and many do. The walk-ons become a key player in preparing the starters for the coming game. They simulate the other teams tendencies.

I think 15 at best. Most likely is 12.

they look at a lot of thing but before football they look at you in the class you in the class room because they don't want someone who wont be eligible for their team second …they look for how you play of course and then when you talk to you coach or recruiter they try and get a feel for your attitude

"Teams" do not provide officials for games. In the NCAA, conferences are responsible for providing officials for games. In Division I-FBS, all conferences field seven officia…ls for each game with the exception of the Big 12. The Big 12 experimented with adding an eighth official during the 2013 season.
