watch "Taxi to the Dark Side" a HBO documentary on the people that got tortured in Bagrah** and Guantanamo Bay.

I do believe they said something like 300 some odd people taken and 94 of them were killed.

The documentary is from ACTUAL events, photos and videos of army personel doing these horrible acts of torture. They get all of the info from the army personel that did the torture and documents directly from Rumps and Cheney.

How are human rights being perpetrated in Guantanamo bay by the Americans and why are they doing this?

In Guantanamo Bay, human rights are being overlooked because the detainees are enemies of the state and may or may not have valuable information on terrorist groups and functions. The Americans want to procure that information by any means necessary and if that means going against human rights laws and torturing the prisoners then so be it (in their opinion at least).
