Literally dozens upon dozens of recordings of Gershwin's most famous instrumental composition exist. In my opinion, the absolute definitive interpretation is by Leonard Bernstein and the Columbia Symphony Orchestra from 1959. This is one of the greatest recordings in "Classical" Music. It is essential stuff, really.
