If you are going to buy river stone/pebles/rock from supplier they use the "formula"

Cubic Yards x 1.25 = Weight in tons.

They then sell it by the ton. (say $300 per ton)

But this is an approximation. If it is one very big river rock it would be a good approximation, but even then it would depend upon the density of the rock eg granite would require a bigger constant (the 1.25) than a Sandstone boulder.

One cannot weigh "one cubic foot of lava rock." Your cube measures 1 foot in length x 1 foot in width x 1 foot in height; therefore, 1 cubic feet. Not really; it would be almost impossible to measure each lava rock (from a pile) to arrive at 1 cubic foot then weigh them. The generality of your question only requires you to fill a box with lava rock from your garden closest to 1 cubic foot then placing the box of lava rocks on your bathroom scale. It should be lighter than you.

There is no clear answer for that as all woods are different. For instance compare balsa wood to teak - you WILL feel a difference.

Depends on what the aggregate is. Stone? Screened sand? Lava rock? They all have different weights.

How do you convert in kg to cu ft in mix ratio in aggregate?

You need to know the density of the aggregate. Typically that will be in Imperial system (pounds per cubic feet) or in SI system (kilograms per cubic metre). Use Volume = Mass/Density to convert to volume in the same system. Then convert from SI to Imperial (or reverse) using 1 cubic metre = 35.315 cu ft or 1 cu ft = 0.02832 cubic metre.
