My 25 lb. baby is taking 6.5 ml twice a day for 10 days. Hope this helps.

If you are giving amoxicillin (penicillin) to a baby, then it must have been prescribed by a doctor including dosage information. Follow the doctor's instructions. Do not medicate a baby with prescription drugs meant for someone else or for an adult.

Giving the wrong medication will not help, may harm, and it means that another correct treatment is not being used.

Depends on the condition. For a simple ear infection, in a child who has not been on antibiotics in the past 6 weeks, is 80-90mg/kg/day divided three or four times a day, making the dose for this child 250mg four times a day. For other infections, such as skin infections, sinusitis, etc, the usual dose is 40-50mg/kg/day divided two to four times a day. This would make the dose 250mg twice a day.

Usually 250 mg three times a day. The dr. will give 500 mg if the infection warrants it

Can your toddler become addicted to Tylenol?

Tylenol is non-addictive. However, your child may be suffering from underlying pain that is soothed by the Tylenol (acetaminophen), and that causes him or her to fret when it is removed. If this is the case, you should see a doctor. See recommended childrens' dosage and warning below.* The oral dose for a child is based on the child's age, and the range is 40-650 mg every 4 hours. * When administered as a suppository, for children, the dose is 80-325 mg every 4 to 6 hours depending on age. Doses of acetaminophen greater than the recommended doses are toxic to the liver and may result in severe liver damage.
