ANSWER: Depending on the size of the taco shell, I usually put 3/4 inch of taco meat in the bottom of the shell to about 1/2 inch from the ends. On average about 1/4 cu…p of meat per taco. At Taco Bell its 1.5 ounces
It all depends on how beefy you want it to be.
8-10 heads of lettuce depending on how much lettuce you use
Depends on how much the chicken weights. : )
This depends on the amount of ingredients that you add with it and how hungry they are. I can tell you that for a family of 6, I generally use two pounds. I also make ri…ce as an additional filling so that stretches it. Based on this calculation, I would say about 7 pounds of ground beef is needed.....8 pounds if you want to "be sure". And if you have some hungry teenagers, I say go ahead and do 8 pounds AND add rice to your fillings. It stretches the budget tremendously. I usually do 1 cup of rice per pound of ground beef I'm using, but if your visitors aren't accustomed to having rice on their tacos, maybe half that? My daughter is a big rice eater, so it's very important to her that we have them together!
1/2 per person.
Allow for about 2 ounces of shredded chicken meat per taco and two taco's per guest. That translates to 25 lbs of pre cooked meat. Always make a small reserve extra for a hung…ry crowd and allow for wastage and spills. 100 people = approx. 30 lbs of shredded chicken meat.
The amount of fillers is listed as 65% range, however independent lab tests have shown the meat content to be less than 30% (over 70% fillers). A search for "Taco Bell beef"… should lead you to details including a picture of the fillers and other information.
Depends on how much meat you put on the sandwich
Buy The Tacobell Seasoning Packets and Beef That's Rolled in a Tube like Form. Cook It And It Should Taste Just like their Meat
Depends what kind of curry, but generally about 36 pounds of meat.
