at 2 ears per person it would be 200 ears, at 1 cup per person (cut corn) it would be 100 cups, or 25 quarts. At 1 lb per person it would be 100 lbs. I usually get about 25% more just in case.
well for how long?for just one meal i say about one pound
Well, it always depend on how big the can of corn is but usually about 6 for a small can of corn.
Depends what else they are eating. If this is a starter, 1 ear each.
Is it a side dish, or is that all they are having ?. Please give basic in formation when asking a question like this.

How many cans of corn to buy to feed 40 people depends partly on the size of the can and partly on how much other food you will be serving. If you allow a half an average-size can of corn per person then to feed 40 people you will need 20 cans of corn, 10 creamed and 10 whole kernel.
14 cans
I would use 150 cans
Two gallons

No. people grow crops of sweet corn, and feed corn. humans eat sweet corn (how ever they want) and cows get the feed corn. it's not a weed. but there are lots of different types of sweet corn too.
100 16oz cans for 100 people

I would NEVER feed guests canned beans. -Fresh are tastier, healthier and only a fraction more costly.
