They pay minimum wage to start. You get an extra quarter per hour for every prior year of experience. So, if minimum wage is $7.25 when you start at Kmart, and you worked at a different store previously for 2 years, you'd make $7.75 per hour.

It depends on store store location, performance, sales volume, etc. It usually starts at about $55k per year. I've seen guys with over 30 years making just shy of $90k. They pretty much peak at $100k.

Bonuses are based on sales vs. plan, EBITDA vs. plan, etc. Once about every 5-10 years, a store manager might actually achieve a bonus (about $10-15k), then the corporate gods will make sure that his/her plan is unattainable for the next few years.

hey my store manager is on $95,000 a yr but depending on the stores amount of trade, managers previous experience and years of service to thecompany a store managers wage can vary from $90,000 to $140,000. And even stores with a really high turnover store managers can be on anything near $180,000 a yr.
