It all depends on what type of bass drum you want. However, Yamaha are selling some base drums with a price range of about £230 to £300.

I bought one cheap for $150.00

Like virtually all Musical Instruments, there is an enormous range of quality and price. Among other things, it varies between kick drums, marching bass drums, and symphonic bass drums; even within a category, you can find prices in the hundreds to the tens of thousands of dollars.
