how much dose a shetland pony cost in strabane
A regular shetland pony can cost from £100 +, but I've seen lower for foals and minis. Quality show ponies with blue ribbons and trophies can cost £1000 +.
If you don't want to ride it, and its just a companion pony, then it costs less.
But remember, it's not the actual pony that will drain your money, its the upkeep for it.

∙ 12y agoWell, it really depends on who you buy from and the pony's parents. Were they award winning 100% Shetlands? Or a random ponies who might not be 100% Shetland? It depends on where you want to buy from, too. There's lots of places that will sell ponies, so if your looking to buy, try to find a few places that have some Shetlands that you like, prices that aren't to high, (but don't trust ones posted on the internet saying 'Free Pureblood Pony' or something like that) a stable that keeps their horses in good conditions and that you'd like to buy from.
