There is no set admission price. Rather, there is a "Suggested Donation" (or "Recommended Donation") of $25 for adults, $17 for seniors, and $12 for students. Children under 12 are admitted free.

The "Suggested" or "Recommended" part means you can pay whatever you want to pay. You can donate one penny, one dollar, five dollars, one hundred dollars, etc. Each person can donate however much they choose. It's a non-profit organization, but every cent is appreciated.

It's free! But if you wish to make a donation (which everyone who goes should), I'm pretty sure it would be gladly and gratefully accepted.

The Tate Gallery is free to the general public on most occasions. However if there is a special exhibit then there maybe a price for that exhibit that is usually around 20 dollars.
