Oil pumps can cost from $80 to $200. It all depends on which vehicle you have.
depends on year, engine size, and if its 4x4 or 4x2 but usually around 500 to 700 depending on your mechanices labor rate
deopends if you can do it yourself, you can buy one online for 50$ and put it in yourself, but be forewarned when you drop your gas tank you may have to replace the straps holding it up because they will probably be rusted so badly they break, although you can take this as an opportunity to drain out your gas tank, which is recommended by the manufacturer to do every year. but if you have it done professionally it can get quite costly, my friend had to pay 800$ for the pump to be replaced on his 1998 silverado
You'll need to drop the oil pan to replace the oil pump. There are only 2 or 3 bolts holding the oil pump once the pan is out of the way. The oil pan is the difficult part. The pump is easy. However... Oil pumps seldom fail. If you have low oil pressure it's usually because of excessive rod and/or main bearing wear. Change to a higher viscosity oil before you try to change the oil pump.
not sure if there is a cross member in the way of getting the oil pan out or not?? just get under neath and look.......drain the oil obviously......... unbolt the oil pump replace new one....not to hard of a job unless you own a mustang which you have to lift the motor to remove the oil pan ...it just all depends on were the cross member is at...if your oil pump went and you have drove it at all you may wanna uncap one of your main bearing and check it .....look for copper
Depending on the engine: (According to Haynes Repair Manual) 3.0L - the oil pump is located in the oil pan. You'll have to remove the oil pan, then the oil pump mounting bolt. Lower and remove the oil pump assembly (the oil pump intermediate shaft will come down with the pump). 3.8L - The oil pump is mounted in the oil pump cover/oil filter adapter. The oil pump intermediate shaft is mounted to the timing chain by a clip (I have a 3.0L, so I haven't seen this). You'll have to remove the oil filter, then the oil cooler assembly. Remove the oil pump/oil filter adapter from the front cover (inspect the oil pump gear pocket). Remove the oil pan, the pickup tube bracket nut, and two mounting bolts to remove the oil pump pickup, then lower and remove the pickup. This is probably more info than you wanted, but there you go.
The oil pump is located on the bottom of the engine. Drain the oil from the oil pan. Remove the oil pan. Remove the oil pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new oil pump.

To have a mechanic replace the oil pump on a Ford Transit Connect van the price is anywhere from $598 to $755 for labor. The cost of the pump is from $36 to $49.
The cost to replace the oil pump on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport ranges from $300 and $500. Replacing the oil pump requires the oil pan to be removed.
it depends on where you bring it or if your doing it yourself.
$300 at the dealer....
well my mechanic says it will take 6 to 8 hours. to get to the oil pump cause you have to remove the oil pan to even get to it and that itself he said would cost 6 to 7 hundred $(freaky crazy)
An oil pump for a Dodge Ram 2010 3500 cost: $111.20!!!
$500-600 + part price or more (at Toyota dealer).
Remove the oil pan, remove the pump, and replace it.Remove the oil pan, remove the pump, and replace it.
There is generally no reason to replace an oil pump unless the engine is being rebuilt. Low oil pressure is usually the result of worn internal engine bearings, not a bad oil pump. The oil pump normally produces much more oil pressure than the engine needs.
