The values are dependent upon the needs of the Army and the needs for that select job. Keep in mind the bonus is an incentive to enlistment and not a reason to enlist in to the US Army or any Branch of the Military, you have to look at the other benefits that you could possible receive and weigh them against what you would get in the civilian sector.
